Our ductile iron OS&Y gate valves provide superior flow control, durability and reduced operating torque. The compact, non-rising stem design with bolted bonnet requires less overhead space than traditional gate valves. Sizes range from 4-24 inches in classes up to 350 psi.

The gate and resilient wedge are fully encapsulated in rubber, providing a tight seal when closed. The vulcanized SBR wedge is mechanically retained with a 304 stainless steel retainer, preventing damage or dislodgement. This produces bubble-tight shutoff while also enabling low-friction operation.

Constructed from heavy-duty ductile iron, these rugged valves resist corrosion, erosion and abrasion. The fusion-bonded epoxy coating exceeds the corrosion protection requirements of AWWA C550. The OS&Y body is tested at up to 500 psi to ensure strength and pressure-retaining integrity.

Flanged end connections per ASME B16.1 provide easy installation into new or existing pipelines. Visual position indicators confirm valve status at a glance. The O-ring stuffing box requires minimal maintenance while preventing leakage.
